Art Connection, London Business School Art Investment Club, is excited to bring to you the 1st Annual Art Investment Conference. The theme of this year's conference is "The Rise of Art as a New Alternative Asset Class".
The conference discusses the characteristics and dynamics of this emerging alternative asset class, why it should be considered in asset allocation decisions, and explores a number of related exciting topics, including:
1. Environment for rising art prices
2. Creation of art indices comparable to financial indices
3. Results on return, risk, correlation for all art and various collecting categories
4. Can you quantitatively value art objects
5. Knowing how much to pay for superior returns
